Pros
There are still, unbelievably, some skilled and passionate colleagues.
Cons
The company is led by an individual who thrives on creating a toxic, hostile environment where bullying is not just ignored—it's actively encouraged. Leadership seems to get a kick out of pitting employees against each other, fostering an atmosphere of fear and distrust. The CEO displays consistent sociopathic tenancies which he believes people are blind to - I assure you they are not. Previous reviews speak the truth about individual experiences of working at MuscleFood, and many have received childish, aggressive and unprofessional responses. Extreme unprofessionalism is a frequent occurrence with incidents such as door slamming, swearing, clear lies, arrogance and aggression. Decision-making is chaotic and reactionary. Business strategies are decided on a whim, without considering the long-term effects or colleague's experience and skill. Unsurprisingly, this has led to a steep decline in performance, which leadership either ignores or spins to blame on anything but themselves. If you value your skills, experience, or career progression, don't expect those to matter here. Expertise is routinely overlooked, and anyone who dares to point out the obvious flaws or tries to offer solutions is quickly made redundant. The morality, and legality of the business operations of MuscleFood should be at least questioned. Cutting corners seems to be the done thing, without consideration of effects this can have on employees, customers, or the long term longevity of the business. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that this is the worst business I have ever had the misfortune of being part of.
