Its a check! You get experience working with the most difficult population.
Cons
You'll get thrown into field with little training to none. Tech department has their nose turned up and comes off as unapproachable "intentionally" You will fight to get your mileage back "watch your check closely" Your training consist of low ink print outs "Good Luck" reading them. You wont get much help! pay is 15th and 30th. Workload is extremely high lots of extra duties. Probation is 6 months and they will add an extra month to see how bad you want the job. Higher ups just sit in the office and will not address issues concerning staff but will listen "crickets"
Good experience for learning to work with difficult populations.
A degree of autonomy in daily operations.
Can be compassionate with difficult personal circumstances
Cons
Very little training or guidance; especially with tech issues
Not open to feedback or accepting of perspectives from staff on the frontline
discourages collaboration or communication among staff
