small-town family-like atmosphere. acuity of patients is lower than bigger hospitals.
Cons
pay is laughable compared to hospitals in neighboring counties. not enough staff due to low pay. "bonuses," if any, might be a jacket with the company logo. nurses are not given raises for furthering their education. also, the hospital pays food service workers and valet parking staff more than nursing assistants.
