Pros

Multistudio is full of talented, thoughtful people and, overall, is a great place to work. The projects are generally engaging, the firm promotes a healthy work-life balance, and its progressive values create an inclusive and forward-thinking culture. The offices themselves are beautiful and uplifting environments that support creativity and collaboration. It’s an excellent place for emerging designers to gain valuable experience and grow their skills.

Cons

Multistudio appears to be navigating an identity crisis. During my time there, the firm seemed more invested in defining and redefining how it presents itself than in building strong project management systems that support consistently excellent and profitable work. A considerable amount of time and resources has been funneled into branding, rebranding, marketing, and communications -- efforts that, while not inherently negative, have at times overshadowed the foundational need to deliver high-quality work efficiently. For the firm to thrive, it must shift focus toward operating as a stable, well-managed business. Additionally, compensation at Multistudio is relatively low, and I believe the disproportionate attention to image over infrastructure plays a role in that.
