Pros
Flexible hours, individual teams CAN be great to work with.
Cons
It's in the headline, Stepford Wives. Upper management puts on a great facade and is very reassuring, until they're not. The lack of transparency and communication began when the company started from a department of Medtronic. Genuine questions about employment security were met with corporate non-answers and that practice continued until there was a real issue that actually needed addressing. The voluntary separation program came as a complete shock to most of us, especially considering we were one of few teams actually delivering on the unrealistic and often burnout inducing deadlines. When it was all said and done, I was glad to get out with the VSP when I did. For everyone who stayed, all I have to say is yikes.
