Very poor career progression for colleagues in the digital sector. Almost non existent for most especially in technical areas. No reward for hard work and hours spent on technical work and years of knowledge. No proper recognition for loyalty. Very backwards culture (If you go above and beyond in your role that doesn't mean anything, if you do a presentation or 2 to those higher up and use buzzwords that is considered above and beyond). Some parts of the organisation are not flexible when this should be on a case by case basis in most companies. Rewards and recognition initiatives in some parts of the business are also more about who is most popular (most number of votes or nominations).
