Pros

Enjoy being here at Mott. Great environment and bright and friendly surroundings. Fantastic people focused on getting better every day. Company continues to evolve as we execute against our Strat Plan and put all of the pieces of the puzzle into place for continued long-term success. Leadership team is strong, capable, dynamic and committed to realistic but challenging growth rates. We work together and work hard to solve customer challenges and to make sure that our customers get what they need faster than the rest. This can be very challenging at times. Being an Employee Stock Ownership Plan helps to assure that we are all working together to grow the company in the right direction.

Cons

We are in a period of transition to build the right People, Teams and Organization. This involves significant change as we evolve into what we need to be as a rapidly growing company. Change is not always easy, but positive change is necessary for success in today's marketplace. The fast-paced environment and continual change is not for everyone.

Pros

Was able to work with people who had worked in Big 4 firms such as PWC, KPMG and through them was able to learn a variety of things about accounts payable, and receivable my internship was rotational and because of that. I was able to also work in FP&A.

Cons

Can't really say there was a con.

Pros

Mott has many talented engineers who work toward a unified goal of creating excellent products that satisfy customers. Going above and beyond is the norm here. The company has always cared for its employees financially, and the HR team consistently keeps things fresh with initiatives for everyone. At Mott, people will help you — just ask!

Cons

Mott has introduced a lot of middle managers around 2021 to 2023 who are foreign to the culture and lack technical expertise in the products. Mott was able to grow with the influx of professionals, some great, some terrible. The bad ones are these individuals that are trying so hard to make their mark that they’ve completely missed the real goals. Priorities become skewed when you have bosses who lack knowledge and experience, yet insist on marching the team in the wrong direction. It’s like a firefighter who starts the fire just to rescue people and be celebrated as a hero — earning praise for solving a problem that never should have existed in the first place. As a result, the culture has declined from a 5 to a 3. Experienced, well-respected people have left or retired.
