Pros
Some of the people are really great, you can find small pockets of them still. Benefits are decent, free snacks, room for advancement.
Cons
New management has just made things that were tough to handle even worse. Everything that is told publicly (collaboration, work/life balance, etc.) is truly lip service. People are unlikely to share information, even within their own group, and the politics and passive agressive behavior of many is tolerated, which basically just breeds more of it. There is no professional development, no real mentoring. Compensation and promotion decisions are made based on politics, not merit. The firm used to be a wonderful, supportive culture and a great place to work. The acquisitions and the new Chair have really eroded that culture.
