Pros
Family company operating under mother's name and credentials. Freeway close location. Youngest Moorefield (Matt) kind person. Unlimited sodas and coffee. There are some nice people working here. Good healthcare for employee only family coverage available but be prepared to pay high costs.
Cons
Horrible management practices in accounting. Overworked facilities / purchasing project manager. Unorganized, unethical, favorites are a real thing in accounting. OT used as a reward to some. Uber micromanaging so called controller. If she'd spend more time actually working and not reading the bible with her group of favorites in the mornings for over an hour she would not be so backed up and behind. Overworks the project accountants to the point of causing stress related conditions. The older woman MK should be the controller as she is the most knowledgably competent person in the department. Accounting practices and software are ancient and outdated. If you happen to be out a day you come back to your desk having been gone through. Lack of trust runs high. Daycare more than a professional business. HR is a complete joke, they act like there is a policy manual in place when there isn't. Do not clock in early or late oh and lunch must be taken at 12pm - 1pm no exceptions, if you clock out past 12 you will be reminded of the set time and also do not clock in early from lunch either unless you are the contollers' favorite employee(s) then you're ok, HR and controller are in cahoots.
