Management is probably worse the maccas. Like hello. Genuinely convinced the bosses think they do some amazing life saving work because why else will the be micromanaging everything 🤣 Most traumatising moment was when the beepers went off and I was lost as I was never told whether to chase the customer down or to let the manager handle it. Lemme tell yall now, it’s neither. It’s to let the managers push you towards the beepers 🤣🤣🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Don’t work here unless you like to be micromanaged without proper training. You can honestly tell how rude they are by looking at their responses in google reviews. Extremely unprofessional management team.

This was one do the worst places to work at they don’t give out 10 minute breaks for shifts past 4 hours which is illegal, they take away shifts without your knowledge and continue to leave you in the dark no matter how many times you try and catch up or converse with the management teams they ignore you. Moreover, you are required to carry around stock in trolley on public transport which is never mentioned in the job description nor is it on the award for retail assistants. They make you start and finish at any store they please as well

Unfortunately, this workplace has serious issues with management style and communication. Feedback was delivered in a personal and discouraging way rather than constructive guidance. I was criticised over text messages for how stock was displayed, told that I “don’t know how to do the job properly”, “are you doing this because it’s an easier option”, “what you’re doing doesn’t help anyone”, and encouraged to resign instead of being given clear instructions or support. This created a stressful and demoralising environment. They are not open for any explanation from staff and would give unfair criticism and would take any explanation as excuse-making - or in my case, with a reply - “you don’t speak to me this way”. I know I’m not perfect but I consistently tried to do my job well, keep the store clean, and support customers and coworkers. The way issues were handled felt unfair and unprofessional. I would not recommend this workplace to anyone who values respectful leadership, clear communication, and a healthy work environment.
