Pros
When times were good, the culture and pay were good. That time has long passed, and it's not worth working there anymore.
Cons
Dismal business outlook, poor treatment of employees throughout the company's decline, and there's just not much of a company left. Up until the days lay-offs occurred the CEO was telling employees that there was reason to celebrate, despite knowing full well that a RIF was coming less than a week later. Even in the best of times communication between groups was tense at best, and there was never even the illusion of work life balance. Morale is at an all time low, and the steady stream of lay-offs (timed perfectly so that they don't have to make any public disclosures) is not making it any better. Even if the company is able to recover from this, I wouldn't recommend
