The engineering culture here is genuinely strong. I had the opportunity to work on complex and stimulating projects using modern technologies. The company invests in new tools and AI, which keeps things interesting and allows for professional growth. Code review culture is very collaborative rather than combative. I learned a lot from my tech leads. Onboarding was very good and i was exposed to all business areas and was able to understand the big picture. Promotions do happen and are tied to measurable impact, which I respect.

Technical debt in some of the older services is not always formally prioritised. Documentation outside of the core services is limited. However the adoption of AI helped a lot to fill in the gap.

I gave my best for this company and my efforts were recognised. My career at the company started remotely in 2020 during covid. I was offered numerous career path opportunities, management genuinely saw my efforts and helped me to grow. I started as a mid level and worked my way up to head level. I was invited for paid trips to HQ and offered training for any course I needed. The person i reported to gave me the autonomy i needed. The company is now transitioning from a smaller company to a european enterprise. In the end of 2025 a new HR team took over and is bringing in a new breed of employees.

Some colleagues lacked experience which sometimes made it hard to collaborate remotely however this is now changing with the new hr. The company is not yet global, unfortunately I had to relocate to another continent and since there was a very large time difference with europe i was no longer able to continue working here but the experience i gained at this company helped me to find a job quite easily.
