Pros
I have never worked for such great people. I felt valued and my ideas were listened to. Leadership has a great vision where all people deserve to live a life of value and dignity and Modern Support Services helps others achieve the highest level of independence. It is evident in all the trainings given, in hiring direct support professionals, middle, and upper management as far as I could tell by my time there. Also, workers' personal lives were given much respect where managers seemed to really listen and care about what was going on and time off was given accordingly and within reason.
Cons
Hourly workers might have to deal with clients being a no-show which can lower pay if it happens a lot…but then there are policies to limit it's effect. Also, pay seems to be a problem across the board in working directly with individuals with disabilities but I think this company is as fair as they can be.
