The management from top down provides tremendous support for self-motivated engineers who want to learn more and make a difference. They nurture your creativity. They provide valuable training and assign mentors when you first join the team instead of leaving you alone. Leadership are good listeners when you have an idea, they invest in you by providing POC development and testing time, hardware investment and enough design freedom for you to show your creativity and skills.

There are a lot of going on, competing priorities do require organization skills and communication, leaderships listen and will help with it.
