If he is still there, Karl is the best manager you could ask for. Good customer service experience and excellent learning environment for technical troubleshooting/problem solving.
Cons
This goes for the TX locations, not the CA locations. Your coworker could make or break your experience, if you are lucky enough to be at a store with a second person. Low pay with high turnover. Pay was justified by offering an unrealistic bonus if your store made enough for the month. Funny part is the bonus only went to the Lead techs, so the regular techs were screwed. The Frisco location was the only place that made bonus consistently which meant the lead technician there had a tendency to be a bit of a control freak. Your best bet would be to get lead technician as soon as you could to max your pay. Which, at the time was only 16$/hr. Management also would attempt to pay the lowest amount to each employee. The only reason some could get better pay would be if the regional manager fought for you ( which he always would)
