In the interview process I was told:
-people don't get fired (I saw 4 people fired before/with me in less than 3 months)
-most reps hit quota (Very rarely- some do, but it's a testament to them working 11-12 hour days)
-there are a plethora of good inbound leads (very rare, and depends on which market segment you get)
-there would be three SDRS promoted within the next four months (Nope)
-there was ongoing training and development. (This was a weekly meeting that had no training from management)
I wanted to love this, but anytime there were problems, management would say "that part of being a series A" rather than actually going to resolve the issue or take responsibility for things like: no leads for weeks.
I was told to do outbound, but not given enough time for an outbound effort to result in deals (we all know it takes 8-11 touches to get a response)
This place is toxic. It made me feel like I should leave sales, and now I'm at another company literally blowing my quota out of the water, without being pressured tot work 12 hours a day cold calling VPs of Sales who don't know what your product is.
