Pros

-you can pass your time as well as earn a little while searching for a new job -learn about how a startup shouldn't be run -can learn about how to drive your career in a toxic environment. - the new office is great with cameras all around so when you leave you can get a 360' video review later. the internet surveillance is also on peak so your social media addictions will also be in check. - they say no religion in office but will start praising Jainism most of time so through this you can learn about duality of humans. - they will always remind you of how they are doing so much for you, and you don't deserve more than this, this will help you learn about being humble (they'll make you). - but the best thing you'll learn is (and this will take sometime) is that you are more than this and you deserve way better things than this. - You'll learn the art of public speaking from founder given he's such an accomplished public speaker that he blanked out in front of an entire audience while talking about his own startup! - they say they treat everyone equally but they clearly have favorites, in fact they know about the office romances and still let them do it thinking this can be a good anchor so that these employees won't leave them. (I mean this is smart) - the chai is good.

Cons

No Cons, just read the Pros that will be more than enough.

Mitt Arv Response

Most startup founders are delusional, and that's why they run the way they do :) Thanks for offering this review so we can respond and make the potential new joiners aware of the expectations when joining Mitt Arv - Absolutely, you can earn well, so that's the primary point to take away from this. Also, we offer 0 day notice to most employees - There's a startup playbook, so something which works for a startup may not for the other. Working at a startup is a reflection of style of working of the Founders, which may not fit all. That is why we offer a mandatory internship, with 2 months of training and 4 months of rest of internship to have a mutual judge if we are fit for each other. - Thankful to all the employees who are still with us and thank us every now and then that they're glad they don't have to work beyond 9 hours everyday, unlike most startups. Perhaps toxicity is a matter of perception here and am glad 90% of them don't find it toxic. In a normal curve, there will always be nodes at the fag ends, and that's normal - Absolutely, the cameras are actually an ISO 27001 requirement, which we would put more of, if we could. Also thanks to the cameras, we were able to find unethical employees who would interview for other companies using office resources, the least they can do is go to their home which was 5 minutes walk and take the interview from there. Thanks to the cameras, we were also able to find the person who had stolen from other employee's bags. So there's no way we are having no cameras in the office. 360 degree views or not. - We wish social media monitoring was so easy. It isn't. Yet, we would if we could. After all, the compensation paid for working in office is for working in office, not for social media. - Absolutely, 90% of our employees who have left us have gone on to get 2x or 3x the salaries we have at Mitt Arv. We pride ourselves in being the launchpad for their careers. This is a feature, not a bug. - Stage fear is real, and none of us warranty a 100% bug free human, including the startup founders. Floundered while speaking, but that's fine, because we're still alive and kickin', you see - There's a policy of reporting in office relationships to HR. But we do not go on poking and going after rumours of romantic relationships, if it comes to our notice, even as an official complain, we'd look into it. But otherwise, rumours are just rumours - We avoid religious conversations to avoid any flaring conversations in office. Jainism is mentioned when someone from employees ask more about the company founders' background. Also not to misinterpret Jain Food while talking about Jainism as a religion - though interlinked, we have no other way of saying 'Jain Food', in fact airlines also have a special meal ccalled VJML, please look it up. Lastly, yes, thanks to our principles of non violence, we would not ever allow entry of non vegetarian food in the premises of the office for which we own or are paying rent. We thankfully have a group of Team leads, who've been with us through best times and worst, and they constantly give us advice which is largely implemented, in fact they are the ones who implement those advices. Thank you immensely for this review, it has given us an opportunity to talk about our work culture. Some will like it, some will not. For those who like it, please apply through Internshala, we hire in cohorts every 4-6 months
