Flexible hours in my department Shuttle service offered between campuses in Asheville Free employee parking Food truck contracts for locations without a cafeteria The newest technologies with ongoing upgrades Employee recognition Excellent orientation program Strong community involvement PTO accrual rate starts slow but increases rapidly with years of service

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
