      Supportive, hard working team. Lots of opportunity for professional development. Leadership focus on health and well being is refreshing. Great benefits. And you get to work in the heart of beautiful Asheville.

      Fast paced and rapidly changing all the time, so everyone's not cut out for it.

      Full time hours, possible Overtime, I am on a great team, and the people there are really supportive and friendly . They welcomed the new comer with open arms and never once felt like a burden. I

      Short staffed, Not as consistent with some of the processes but they are working on it

      Pros

      Great nurses, resilient community, many leadership growth opportunities, large hospital with many specialties, the only level 1 trauma center in WNC.

      Cons

      The hours are very challenging. often 5am to 6pm M-F. No additional compensation for extra hours, nights, or on-call weekends. You must love the work, and have minimal need for work-life balance to enjoy working here.
