The Worst DoD Contractor - Stay Away! - Senior Counterintelligence Analyst Mission Essential Employee Review

Pros

None, aside from the naked fact of having a job versus continued unemployment

Cons

Mission Essential is without loyalty, honor or integrity in the treatment of its employees. Local PM are apparatchiki of the most odious Soviet standard, cowardly and without remorse, graduates of the "kick down, kiss up" school of management. ME has consistently the worst reputation among its legion ex-employees around DoD, better to avoid our resentful ranks altogether. Especially overseas, whether deployed or not, you will receive zero support from these piratical profiteers, and travel reimbursements made only grudgingly after many phone calls, fighting and arguing. Amateurish and exploitative, self-interested, and narcissistic, Mission Essential is your worst nightmare awaiting you in the field of U.S. Department of Defense contractor employment.

Supportive and approachable leadership Collaborative and positive team culture Great work–life balance Strong focus on employee growth and development Clear communication from management Competitive pay and solid benefits Opportunities for advancement and career progression A company that genuinely values its employees Fun and engaging workplace environment Flexibility and understanding around personal needs

Cons

Fast-paced environment (could be a challenge for some, but I enjoy it) Lots of opportunities for growth, which means you need to be proactive High standards — but that pushes everyone to do their best Would like to see more company events for employee morale
