Pros
Overall a Fun Job
Stimulating (Good for Neurodivergent)
Lax rules (allowed to be on phone while working - also a downside I guess?)
Friendly fellow staff
Cons
Doesn't care for staff, there is no HR, no injury report system, they (owner included) will often laugh at CCTV of injuries, brush off injuries unless it could be a cause to sue them, and not give breaks during shift (once did a 12h, no break in sight - you have to eat food on the go/in the 2 minutes waiting for a team to arrive/put away bags/sign waivers). Staff care is more than abysmal. On-call shifts, you could be called 20 minutes before the start of the game (I lived about 30 away) and expected to come in to run the game immediately. Owner is overall rude to staff, doesn't care for the wellbeing, will tell off staff and not hear them out on why perhaps it wasn't intentional etc, and the customers, although they signed a waiver to not physically interact/hit the staff/actors, will not be pulled from the game/punished for lashing out and injuring staff (again, it would become a laugh reel and nothing more)
