Pros

First pick to new products

Cons

SO MANY ISSUES to list them - First is this not a Japanese store, we are taught to say it is but it really is a Chinese company. -Work culture is very toxic, the workload is intense and if you don't finish them you will get in trouble and you are expected to work for free occasionally to finish the workload they gave you. They will keep changing or cutting your shift without notice and letting you know or even only let you know at 2am 6 hours before your shift. -HR human resource isn't human resource at all, she manage your pay and will always screw it up and if you confront her about it, she will hate you and occasionally alter the roaster at your stores to keep your hours or give you zero hours for that 2weeks. if she hates your she will ignore your message when you ask her for something/help - every communication is done by wechat, you are expected to be on it for 24/7 answering to over 5-7groups, its a mess, - Super high turnover rate, most manager will leaves within a year or step down because of the amount of free labor they need to do, same apply for normal staff. Majority of the store now don't even have store manager, only Training assistant manager/assistant manager to run the whole store. -constant budget change to sales target, most of the time if your store hit near to 100% IT team will update your sales target by 30-50% so you will never hit the sales target, only 1 store will hit the monthly target 2-3 times a year. And once you hit the target we are supposed to be rewarded with money but they changed their mind and null one of the month we did hit target. -Training for new staff, 2 hours isn't enough to train them on everything, you can't expect them to be pro right away, it takes time to cultivate good worker

Pros

It's fun to see what inventory we'll get, and it's fun product to sell. Coworkers are great to be around.

Cons

Upper management is horrible. 3 months into the store manager being fired, with no new SM in sight. When higher-ups come in to help, they are hard to communicate with, often giving off a harsh attitude. They will say everything that is wrong with the store with no positives. We were told to fill a particular IP because it was light when we had no inventory to fill it with, which they must have missed during their visit. The store was once sent so much shipment that we had to fill our bathroom with bags of inventory. The electricity went out once because the bill wasn't paid. Very little training is provided. Management would rather work a skeleton crew into the ground than care about employee turnover.
