Communities are often poorly managed. Care staff are paid less than people make working fast food. Bonuses are not given. No actual meetings occur for annual merit based raises. Worked here for many years, multiple facilities — was unable to use PTO, multiple locations were in violation of labor laws regarding notice of schedule change and schedule posting and for breaks, withholding promised bonuses for recruitment and bringing in new residents, as well as problems regarding workmen’s compensation cases and modified duty restrictions. Employees are not protected in less than ideal situations.
