Pros

Good work balance most times.

Cons

Pay is very low. You start at $16 an hour as an IT Support Consultant with no increase until your yearly review (which doesn't even increase it much at all). A stepping stone MSP to better opportunities.

We believe in a strong work/life balance and we aim to set reasonable goals for our employees. As our company is growing and our client base is growing, we are actively hiring to ease the workload. The salary offers almost always are at or above what the candidate entered as the desired salary. The average salary increase per year is more than double the average salary increase nationwide. When people build their careers with us, they continue to have a competitive salary as they advance their skillsets. We want to do everything possible to help our staff feel satisfied in their roles and develop their careers with Miles IT. Please contact feel free to contact us at careers@milesit.com to address any concerns you may have.

Pros

Family comes first here at Miles IT. I work from home because I have kids in school and kids with special needs. Miles IT offers the flexibility I need to take care of them. Miles IT offers great opportunities for advancement and expanding your knowledge. Everyone I work with is super friendly, and we all strive to support and help each other succeed. We may have many divisions, but we are all one company, and we ensure each other's success.

Cons

Sometimes, I work a bit longer hours because I am so engaged in something that I can't stop until I'm done. (maybe that is my ADHD talking)

Pros

Great place for IT beginners. They put family first and offer great flexibility with work-from-home shift timings. It’s a great environment for learning new skills and gaining hands-on technical exposure.

Cons

The company suffers from poor workload management, continuously loading tasks onto overwhelmed employees while senior staff are too busy to offer timely help. Management fails to value seasoned employees, routinely ignoring their feedback and opinions. Instead, the culture leans into unnecessary micromanagement, where employees are constantly criticized for petty mistakes that do not impact the customer, leaving staff feeling unappreciated. Combined with the complete absence of an HR department to address behavioral issues, this creates a highly stressful and toxic work environment.
