**Mikros Animation** is a top-tier animation studio known for delivering high-quality visuals and compelling storytelling. With a strong track record in feature films and episodic content, they are recognized for their creative excellence and technical expertise. The studio’s collaborative environment and commitment to innovation make it a great place for both seasoned professionals and emerging talent in the animation industry.

Cons

While **Mikros Animation** is renowned for its creative output, some potential cons include: - **Tight Deadlines:** Like many animation studios, the fast-paced production schedules can lead to high-pressure work environments. - **Long Hours:** During crunch periods, employees may face extended work hours to meet project deadlines. - **Limited Growth Opportunities:** Some former employees have mentioned fewer opportunities for career advancement in certain departments. - **Work-Life Balance:** Due to demanding production cycles, maintaining work-life balance can be challenging at times. These factors are fairly common in the animation industry but are worth considering.

Pros

My team was generally pretty great! Most of the artists refused to appear on camera, so it was hard to get to know them. But those that I did meet were very nice!

Cons

I was required to move to Montreal only to find out other leads were allowed to remain in their home country (US like me). I was clear I had a service dog, and when I arrived in Montreal I was denied entrance into the studio. A few months after being forced to move I was laid off without ever meeting my team or stepping foot in the studio. Also, it's a complete mess regarding assets and animation in preparation for CFX. The most simple things became absolutely huge issues for no reason. The artist management department ghosted me and never gave me a heads up there was no work after my project, what the future held, just not doing her job at all. She was promoted, so go figure!
