Pros

Everyone has been incredibly friendly and helpful beginning with the interview process. They spend a significant amount of time with you welcoming you and teaching you the process and the culture. I had an aunt pass-away within a couple of months of starting and everyone was so supportive. They want you to stick to 40 hours a week, I am used to working more than that and it being expected. Provided time off to colunteer.

Cons

I am used to a higher salary, more vacation available immediately. Only provided 3 days of bereavement a year. The places I have worked previously, the amount of time off was based on the relationship. So, when my step-father passed away a few years ago, I was given 5 paid days off.

The company culture and support is unmatched. I have felt welcome and valued since my first conversation with a recruiter.

Cons

The job is fully remote which comes with its own challenges and requires you to be self-motivated and unafraid of reaching out to your team.

Pros

My experience at Meteor Education has been very positive overall. The team is supportive, collaborative, and willing to help each other succeed. There is a strong sense of teamwork across departments, and hard work is recognized and appreciated. The role also provides opportunities to learn new systems and add additional professional development in a fast-paced environment.

Cons

This isn't really a con in my opinion. The role can involve a fast pace of work and priorities may shift depending on operational needs. Some processes require multiple steps, which can contribute to a higher volume of task management at times and require strong organization and adaptability.
