There is some legacy equipment that still needs to be maintained for production.

Union benefits and compensation is good. Basically unlimited overtime, with double time after 50 hours/week. Not labor intensive and work is generally easy.

Toxic work environment, leadership is completely oblivious to the level of ridiculous that occurs on night shifts especially. High turnover for supervision and management also means long-term issues never actually get resolved.
