Leadership during COVID-19 Crisis - Senior Engineering Manager Mercury Systems Employee Review

I have been extremely impressed by the openness and concern but all levels of management during the COVID-19 crisis. The executive leadership has made communication a top priority and moved quickly to keep employee safe and the business moving forward in a positive direction. As an employee I felt that management was concerned about my safety and the safety of my family and communicated the why and how things were going to be done. While this time has had a lot of unanswered questions Mercury’s leadership has done all they can to make sure we had clear and thought out direction very step along the way. I have also been very impressed by the ability to virtually overnight move to the majority of the company to a work from home model with very few bumps in the road. This speaks volume to the commitment of leadership to make the necessary investment and the skills of all levels of the IT team to make this happen. By making this happen it put employee safety first. Giving us the infrastructure needed to work from the safety of our homes.
