Pros
It's Merced College. This college has been part of the community since the 1960s. Some of the best faculty teach here, and you'll serve some of the most worthwhile students.
Cons
The current administration seems to hate faculty, in particular the counselors and librarians. If you keep your head down, you'll be fine. But this is not a place to grow your career. Many people (mostly women) have been fired or forced to resign. Currently, the deans who can are retreating back to faculty.
