Could be pros or cons depending on what you're looking for! Non-hierarchical—high-level contributions come from every level. High autonomy is expected from employees, matched by a high level of trust. Very transparent leadership and company communications—open, frank communication style. Highly committed and involved founders. Team works hard and (conscientiously) plays hard. Someone's going to become essential as the IoT industry matures! Might just be Memfault! In the meantime, the product makes a lot of dang sense and is beloved by many cool customers.
Cons
Some recent missteps in hires, promotions, and strategic bets. The company is pretty good at responding to setbacks—and learning from mistakes!—but there have been ups and downs in the vibes. On the whole, it seems to be trending positive, but there’s still a long way to go on the path to figuring it all out. As another reviewer wrote, "not for the faint-hearted," but definitely for those who relish a challenge!
