Pros

Not everyone gets fired. You get a discount on coffee from Melitta. Pay and benefits are pretty good.

Cons

The company has let many people go, either by firing or quitting, but they don't hire replacements. Some they have no plan to rehire, others it takes more than a year and a half to rehire. In the meantime the remaining employees have to pick up the the workload, and when it becomes too much, there is no support from management. The company has no defined leadership. Each department has it own goals and they do not cooperate with each other. We have been experiencing parts shortages for over 8 months, nobody knows why and nobody does anything about it. The technicians are the only producers of money for the company (there is no real sales force) yet are treated poorly. We are forced to work outrageous hours, until they can't take it anymore. Your home life will suffer greatly.

Pros

We have pretty easy to learn machines and more or less easy to find problems and fix. As long as you do your job and follow basic rules your pretty much on your own.

Cons

Upper management over promises companies what the techs in the field can't reach! Consist part supply issues, pay should be a lot more for the amount of traveling is required to reach deadlines and cover other states due to the amount of work from the deadlines that are promised before even thinking of hearing from the service techs in the field.
