Pros

- tight knit culture - good office location - interesting industry

Cons

- frequent layoffs - extremely limited and unclear growth opportunities - lots of turnover - leadership is heavily involved in day-to-day operations, causing a lot of spin and confusion around priorities - People managers vary in leadership skills, some with very poor people management capabilities while others are excellent - lots of uncertainty around the future of the company given the misalignment between leadership in conjunction with rising gold price

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We appreciate the depth of your feedback, as it helps us understand how our culture and growth are landing with our teams. We recognize that being a founder-led business brings a unique intensity. Our founders are deeply involved because they care about the brand’s integrity, but we know that this environment—and the "lateral" growth philosophy we value for building career breadth—isn't the right fit for everyone at every stage of their career. Like many in the jewelry industry, we are also navigating a volatile global market and significant shifts in precious metal costs. To ensure we remain a healthy, sustainable business for the long term, we have had to make some difficult structural changes. These decisions are never taken lightly, and we remain deeply grateful to everyone who has helped build Mejuri. We are focused on the future, continuing to clarify our internal structures and priority-setting to ensure our teams feel supported even as we scale. We value the time you spent with us and wish you the best in your next chapter.
