Under the right circumstances, it's possible to earn a good living.
Cons
A family business. If you don't like nepotism, you won't be comfortable here. "Me too" products will generate no income. You will be micro-managed. Senior Management does not trust the leadership abilities of their middle managers. This is not an incubator for future management talent. It's often a dog eat dog environment.
