Medix, at first, is the epitome of drinking the "kool aid". You have a CEO who talks about being a "ohana" and " family" when reality its a massive deflection of whats really going on. There is no process to anything at Medix and the company never has a general direction of where they are going. The amount of new hires in recruitment and sales that leave is astonishing. There is no forward training on how to be successful or get better. Leadership in your division is compromised of yes men who will do anything to please leadership even if it's at the expense of the team under them. It's a boys locker room or fraternity with how its run. You are nothing but a number to Medix. They try to make the culture great by shoving alcohol in your face and having periodic "team building opportunities". The company as a whole is going down hill. They got new investors and the company has yet to show an increase in revenue. They let go of half the Chicago office and then had a meeting about how well and bright the future looks. Just don't work here. It takes a professional and personal toll on you. I can't see the company sustaining itself in the next 5 or so years. It's evident. Titantic 2.0.
