Pros

MediaTier is excellent for their speedy advancement opportunities, openness to new ideas and bent toward treating everyone as family, even giving all employees direct access to the CEO and founder. They're also very flexible when it comes to when you work; as long as you make it happen and put in your time, they're more than happy. Finally, MediaTier is very into rewarding its employees with hourly pay after you put in your 40 hours for your salary, profit sharing and sweet company trips during the good years. For a small company, such benefits couldn't be better.

Cons

The accounting office can be chronically late with paychecks for satellite employees, not because of company financial issues, but because payroll has to bounce through three offices and two banks in as many countries before a check is issued. The company's familial atmosphere also has its downsides in that almost no one is ever fired, even when they're fouling up badly; this downside is kind of exacerbated by confusion over who's doing what and the fact that, with so many people working remotely and in different languages, sometimes communication breaks down dreadfully. Finally, as a online marketing company, MediaTier relies a little too much on some Black Hat tactics. On the whole, more White Hat strategies are used than not, but sometimes the amount of keyword stuffing their Senior SEO insists on can get a little absurd.
