As an angel investor, I have served on a number of boards over the years and have seldom seen a more collaborative and sharing team than at MediaMate. This is a flat organization where everyone is heard and participates.
Cons
The college advertising market has been turned upside down with the advent of social media. If anyone can figure out how to navigate these choppy water, it will be this team.

Pros
If you like to work as a team this company is for you. It is a small company, but every employee from upper management to recent hires work together. Management takes time to get to know you on a personal level and will have a weekly meeting with you to go over any work questions you may have. You will work with multiple colleges or advertisers depending on your position. Employees and students at these colleges are always very enthusiastic when it comes to working with MediaMate. Interns will have hands on learning experience that will help them in the future. Great company to be a part of and provides employees with the opportunity for them to be promoted within MediaMate.
Cons
You are the middle man between the advertisers and the schools they are advertising in. Strong communication skills is a much needed requirement. Rescheduling advertisements for the school or advertiser can be frustrating if the dates do not coincide. It is a little slower when students are on break their summer or winter break.
