Pros

Hybrid work schedule, many of the employees really do care and work hard.

Cons

To thrive at Medartis, it’s more about kissing up to the right people than about your work ethic. You are always at risk of losing your job in the next inevitable round of layoffs. The culture is rotten to the core - you will feel like a contestant on Survivor, or like you’re in high school again. If you have emotional intelligence and want your career to progress because of your talent, find another employer.

Pros

Technical knowledge is very high in the company - people still make a difference compared to bigger competitors in the industry. The buildings (US and CH) allow a smooth communication flow between all business unites. Good learning place for young and motivated engineers with career ambitions

Cons

With a ca. 20% YoY growth, some processes and softwares are updated. Some departements do not seem to act with the same sense of urgency

Pros

During my time with the company, I found that certain aspects of the experience were positive, particularly the support and guidance provided by the RSM, who consistently demonstrated professionalism, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to team success. Their approach was one of the few highlights of the organization.

Cons

Leadership at the higher levels often lacked transparency, consistency, and effective communication. Decision making felt disconnected from the realities employees faced, resulting in frustration and decreased morale. The overall culture leaned toward being discouraging rather than supportive. Employees often experienced a degrading environment marked by poor communication and limited recognition. Opportunities for advancement were minimal. Overall, while the company benefits from a strong RSM(Regional Sales Manager) and has potential to improve, meaningful change in leadership approach, work culture, and HR operations is necessary for the organization to support and retain its talent.
