Pros

Flexibility, remote working from anywhere.

Cons

Grading is extremely frustrating especially when you get constant automated messages saying your grading is to low or too high. Barely any feedback. Some of the requirements are inconsistent, so readers that try to use the rubric get told otherwise. Training is poor and has no real lasting benefit given a AI system will pre-grade your work before you even read it. Why don't they just use AI to do all their grading..safe people the time and stress dealing with all this back and forth nonsense.

Pros

I like the opportunities Measurement Inc. provides for seasonal remote work. The expectations and pay rate are very clear. The support is very good.

Cons

I never know how long a particular project will last because the actual end date might be sooner than initially projected.

Pros

Very flexible. Fully remote and asynchronous. Easy application process.

Cons

Pretty much everything else. Prepare to be made to feel demotivated, insecure, and frustrated through constant automated messages telling you you're scoring too slowly/too inaccurately. No real guidance on how to improve your performance, however. Told to ask questions that largely go unanswered, and reference training materials that don't even correspond with the items you're working on. The scoring system has weird tech issues often. The pay is not livable for most people, especially given the seasonal nature of the role. Can be mind-numbingly dull, but to be fair to MI, that's true for pretty much any test-scoring gig. I've worked several over the years, making the constant, hounding messages that I'm underperforming rather insulting.
