Relaxed work environment but pay could improve - Account Manager Measured Marketing Employee Review

I learned so much from this company throughout my time there.

I wish I had more hands on experience

Great opportunities to cross-train and move positions. Generally moves happen without notice and without pay increases,but it gives you great experience for your resume. Good for right out of college. Amazing colleagues that are really smart and love what they do. Company is all about customer support, and you are surrounded all day by people that just like to be helpful. Middle management is awesome. Not a lot of co-worker drama. People work really hard while they are there.Everyone likes to get their stuff done and go home at 5. Great, fun job if it wasn't for just one big thing....

Owner is really difficult to work for. She make random out of the blue decisions one day and pretends she never said them the next. She can be sharp tounged and has a pattern of being condescending and calling people out in public. No health benefits.No matching 401K. Very low pay. Thinks free granola bars and vitamin water is investing in her workers. You hear through the grapevine that people get raises every once in a while, but there's absolutely no rhyme or reason to who, why, or how the ammount came to be. Unfortuntately she has no executive team to advise her, so it's her way or the high way.
