Pros

World-renowned care, comprehensive clinical evaluation, well-regarded specialists (MDs, PhDs, and social workers)

Cons

I worked at the Pavilion F/T for many years. Though the clinical program can be recommended (see "pros above) in terms of employment, staff has had, for many years, problems with the administration-all of whom have documented histories of lying to, manipulating, and finding reasons for firing good staff. Staff have beaten a well-worn path to HR over the years with complaints. HR provides a forum, appears to listen and maintain objectivity, only to have issues ignored, with no changes made. All efforts on the part of staff over the years to clean up Pavilion administration have been met with stonewalling and condescension. As a result, staff turnover is high, they feel defeated, and morale is chronically low.

Pros

There are some opportunities to collaborate with researchers across departments .

Cons

In my experience, the workplace culture and management environment were challenging. Communication could at times feel dismissive, inconsistent, or unnecessarily confrontational, particularly during stressful operational situations. Concerns related to workplace behavior, fairness, and respect were not always handled in a supportive or transparent manner. There also appeared to be uneven treatment between employees, with some staff receiving significantly more support and flexibility than others. For international employees or individuals from different backgrounds, the environment could feel especially difficult to navigate.
