Pros

there are no really good reason to work at mcdonalds. you either work there cause you have no paper. most of my co workers like 90 percent have no paper they work there cause they dont do good back ground check. and people who have papers hours get cut cause its so much easier to control someone without paper then it would to a citzen. my boss yells at my crew in a nasty mean way sometimes and they cant do anything back cause they are scare of losing their job. but then again they dont pay taxes which weakness work ecomany. less money for schools ect...

Cons

there is alot wrong with this company like. the fact that if your new they just throw you in like without any standerd/basic training. and you are expected to learn everything in a few short hours being thats its a fast food company. but this type of mangenment creats a downfall in the stores porformace of fast food and clean quality food. cause some people even forget to wash their hands which nasty as hell. and stress is created cause the older workers feel that the new workers bring them down in proformace. you also lose hours cause MOST of the worker work their with false papers or other family members papers. which the store manger perferes them cause their easier to control and boss around while they get minium pay for 2 years. its an outrage!

Pros

Experience varies heavily depending on the owner/operator you work for. Free and discounted food. 2 weeks PTO. Vision, Dental and Health insurance. Offers rapid development opportunities.

Cons

Work-life balance is nonexistent. In fact, the director of operations has stated numerous times, “Work life balance is a myth”. The company states you are required to work 45 hrs/week minimum; Realistically, GM’s can expect to work 55-60 hours in store with constant calls and messages when home. The company does not count any work done outside of the restaurant toward your 45hr requirement. There is no training for this position as you are expected to figure it out on the job. They offer $2000 per month performance bonus but are always finding new ways to disqualify you and move the goalposts when you actually earn it.
