Overworked with little compensation - Anonymous employee Max Well Therapy Employee Review

Very toxic work environment, especially for support staff (front desk, admin, marketing, etc). You can find a better paying job literally anywhere. If you ask for more money, you pretty much get told that you are being greedy. The office space is small and dark (no windows.) I brought up several concerns regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and was pretty much told that anyone who had issues with the way we ran business should just go somewhere else. The only thing keeping me sane was occasionally working from the Grand Blanc office where I had a coworker who I could get lunch with and make small talk with throughout the day. Although, I was told that our occasional small talk, which was the only thing keeping me from quitting, decreased our productivity and that I had to go back to my tiny one person basement, windowless office. I quit the next day. That coworker was recently fired because apparently “productivity” is more important than the exceptional customer service she would provide. I quit and within a couple months I am making 2.5x as much money with way better benefits and management. Do not waste your time working for this company that will suck the life out of you. There was never any positive feedback. Your work here will never be enough to the money-greedy management, despite the low wages.
