Pros

I can't speak for every team/location, but in my experience I greatly enjoy my day to day. I enjoy the fast paced enviroment of this industry. There are clear goals set by corporate for all employees, which makes reaching them quite easy if you have the drive to do so. My team specifically follows very strict guidelines for our customers. We will NOT sell something our customers don't need. We would rather be here when you need us, with honest work ethic than up sell when there is no need. It is definitely a "we take care of our own" kind of mentality at store 366. And what I mean by that is, we treat eachother like family, we cover eachother when we need it, we have eachother's backs when life gets in the way. In my opinion, it is refreshing to work somewhere, where you matter not only as an individual, but also as a team.

Cons

Waiting a year to have vacation/PTO is a bit frustrating. And mandatory weekends sometimes becomes tedious, but in this industry our busiest days are thursday-sunday. The company is steadily growing everyday. I for one plan on taking full advantage of the growth here at mavis. I hope to run my own region someday.

Pros

It’s fun to work with the customers and learn about different Tires, learning to recognize quality product over junk and being able to communicate same to customers.

Cons

There could be a significant amount of Micro-Management They may promote people with much less experience over others who have been there awhile People who are relatively inexperienced may “Coach” people w/ much MORE experience. A “Trainer” may train the same person who trained them. You may work here awhile and earn the same base pay as someone starting tomorrow. They may tell you to do something one way, 2 weeks later tell you to do it another way and in the 3rd week tell you to go back to the original way. They may want you to follow an established set of guidelines until otherwise. They may use their telephone system to filter calls from more affluent areas to certain individuals and less affluent areas to other individuals.
