Pros
-Great place to get clients given to you if you're a coach.
-You'll learn a lot about best practices in business coaching.
-Overall, great team.
Chill mgmt that let's you do your own thing unless your review/assessment scores start going down.
-Clients are great. That being said, some clients get sold on the program and maybe didn't really belong in such an expensive coaching program, they have financial issues, etc. However, you're the coach, Help them. Work with them. Ask for help from other coaches/mgmt. If you can't handle difficult clients sometimes, who have issues, why the heck are you a coach to begin with? :)
Cons
- You're not going to get rich here. If you want to earn $500+ per hour as a coach, you need to get your own, private clients. This is subcontracting. This should be a fun, side gig while you're building your own businesses.
- Maui needs to update their trainings online - they have a training portal but I think it's a bit dated. Having said that, there is tons of content on it for HR, Ops, Sales, Leadership, etc. - and all staff of client companies can access it so it's a built in comprehensive training program for ALL members of a client's company.
- Long term contracts for clients - Clients do complain that once they sign up for an extended contract, it's impossible to get out. While there is nothing wrong with honoring your contracts, Maui needs to create more value to ensure that clients feel it for 3+ years.
