The best thing about working with Matson is the people. All of the people I was working with were outstanding professionals who always look after one another and ensure the job is done correctly, safely and in the most efficient way. There are so many opportunities at Matson and so many skills you can learn. Someone is always ready to teach you and bring you up to a higher level. It's great, hard work and great pay.
Cons
The work is based frequently on container ships, and we are often at the mercy of inclement weather and delayed shipping schedules.
