Pros

I wanted to share a recent experience I had as an employee of Master Chemical. I have been in this field for nearly twenty years and I am very familiar with Master Chemical. However I am now a full time employee with the company just about to complete my first year. I have five children and my youngest was born premature, as a result he has severe allergies. His allergies make carrying an Epi-Pen everywhere he goes a necessity and we have to fill his prescription for a two pack every year. We have found that our insurance has never never covered it and have made it part of our lives to pay between $450 to $600 every year for the past four years and $250 every year for the first five years of his life. My wife went to pick up his prescription this week which was supposed to be $600 but to her surprise she only had to pay $10. I have been dealing with medical insurance enough to know the plans that cover this type of medication is top tier premium coverage. My out of pocket for my family's plan is less than I have ever paid even seven years ago. This tells me that Master Chemical is making the financial sacrifice for its employees to have great insurance that not only provides good care but also adds to the financial bottom line of their employees. GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thank you

Cons

There are no cons that I can think of. Great Company with great people. Still had a family owned atmosphere. They even share financials with all employees on a regular basis.

Pros

Actually cares about the employees and wants them to be healthy and happy. Always looking for improvements and willing to promote internally if the desire and talent is there.

Cons

Some old school thought processes. Needs more documentation of processes and continuous improvement.
