Pros
The best healthcare in Massachusetts (except Dana Farber left so go there if you need them, but otherwise, go to MGB).
Cons
The worst employer in healthcare. 1) they sent an email saying they would give market adjustments to keep up with inflation because the salaries were barely allowing people to pay their rent. But did they? No. There are still managers who did not do it in their departments and HR did nothing about it. 2) They outsource IS, Benefits, Tuition reimbursement, etc. and there is zero accountability if these vendors do not do their jobs or provide adequate service. So, as a manager I see employees go to the doctor and find out they were dropped and got zero customer service from Alight even though they were still fully employed and never waived their health insurance; employees do not get reimbursed for tuition even though they were on the tuition.io website within the required parameters but tuition.io provided mixed messages making them think they were ok and then zero follow-up so they were left holding the bag; IS purchasers charge departments full price for broken or damaged hardware and will not replace it or get them a refund...the list goes on. The system is so badly managed you can hardly believe it. Going into work each day as the person people complain to, and having HR working from home so you only hear back from them at 4:59pm when you reached out in the a.m. is demoralizing. I feel I am tilting at windmills all day. Yet I am calling out into a void. I even wrote a message to Ms. Klibanski about one of the issues and heard nothing back about it. In other words, they showed they have no interest in making their vendors do what they promised. So, therefore everything in your hiring brochure is a maybe-not a promise.
