Pros
Reputable & honest company with great leadership, fair compensation (paid overtime even though I was paid a 'salary'), work-life balance (I worked 40 hours per week typically). I was sent to Revit & CDT training courses, reimbursed for architecture exams that I passed, and the company paid professional organization fees (i.e. AIA). Glenn Mason is one of the most respected architects working in the field of historic preservation in Hawaii. Half of the office is comprised of architectural historians who are writing reports. High profile historic projects including Bishop Museum, Iolani Palace and lots of historic churches. Standard benefits with 401K matching, health insurance. Bus passes paid by office and parking space if you are a registered architect. Hybrid office car can be borrowed if you don't drive to work. Great downtown location in the historic Stangenwald building on Merchant street.
Cons
Office cliques & favoritism to some degree, but overall pleasant environment if you don't read into it or aren't sensitive to those types of things.
