Pros
The communication was great if I reached out to anyone, and they stood strong for me during a dispute with one of the contracted companies. Plus, they automatically increased my pay a few times without any requests from me.
Cons
I found the client myself, but after I was working with the client directly for a while, Uncle Sam stepped in and said they had to have a third party management group for tax purposes. Once I became a part of MMG, things went great until the client stopped hiring contractors as often. I mentioned to MMG a few times that I would like to be brought on as an editor at other locations/clients. The response I got was the equivalent of "We've filed your resume amongst the stack of others in case someone asks us for it". It's been years and I've never been interviewed or sent to another client for work. The amount of work I get from them now is the equivalanet of unemployment.
