Pros
Good team and lovely staff, recruitment hire for personality as well as experience and it means everyone gets on well. Good company benefits and the work is interesting. Line managers and operations work hard and are passionate. The company is growing and with that comes good opportunities for career progression.
Cons
The company culture seems to be a sink or swim approach. Treatment towards the lower levels of staff doesn’t match that of other teams. This is reflective in restrictions of the “flexible” and “hybrid” model. Turns out there are hoops to jump through and you can only have a flexible pattern if the CEO says so. Not as advertised, a company should sell itself to you as well as you to them - and if you didn’t work as hard or as affectively as you claimed, any employer would have concerns. It shouldn’t be disregarded when the shoe is on the other foot. The work is interesting but complex and it doesn’t seem set up to affectively train and support new graduates in a role.
